Working with CISNET

The development of models represents only a portion of the CISNET puzzle. To achieve the full goals of the consortium, a core value of CISNET is to make the research and policy communities aware of existing infrastructure and to encourage active collaborations. CISNET investigators feel that a successful collaboration can only be achieved if groups work in close consultation with CISNET investigators to operationalize the problem, work through the selection of data and study resources, and assist in synthesizing and interpreting the results. Because of CISNET's flexible modeling infrastructure, the cost of collaborative efforts is minimized and collaborations are accessible for all types of organizations and budgets. This section summarizes the outreach efforts of CISNET and lists the organizations where collaborations are ongoing or planned.
